Day 01
Arrival and visit the romantic sites in ColomboIt is now time to enter Sri Lanka and be awed by the blissful splendour of the island. There arre so many eye-catching sites to see while also being entranced by the welcoming nature of our people. We will transport you from the airport to Colombo, the capital metropolitan city of Sri Lanka. Colombo is home to many romantic sites. You can visit the Gangaramaya, which is an ancient temple in Colombo. Another great hotspot is Mount Lavinia beach, which is at the northern end of Sri Lanka's Mount Lavinia promenade. The beach is two kilometres long, and there are numerous restaurants within a 500-meter radius of the beach. The best time to visit this beach is from November to April, and you can find it by walking up from the bus station or taking a minibus from the Lighthouse junction. Further, Viharamahadevi Park in Havelock Town, Western Province, is a renowned tourist destination in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is one of Sri Lanka's largest parks, created during the colonial era, and is considered one of the best spots to visit in Colombo for couples for a sunset stroll.
Day 02, 03 & 04
Colombo / SigiriyaFrom Colombo, then we journey on to Sigiriya, the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sigiriya (Lion Rock), one of the country's most spectacular natural monuments, is now calling you to visit the majestic, sheer-sided outcrop of reddish gneiss rising 200 metres/yds above the surrounding plains and ornamented with the astonishing ruins of one of medieval Sri Lanka's most outstanding royal palaces. An unusual series of spiral metal steps from the Victorian period lead up to a sheltered nook in the rock that holds Sigiriya's most renowned sight: the Sigiriya Damsels. This magnificent painting, possibly the largest ever made, was commissioned by King Kassapa in the 5th century and depicts 21 beautiful, bare-chested females swathed in a layer of fluffy cloud from the waist down, either scattering flower petals or presenting platters of food. The paintings are unlike anything else seen in Sri Lanka, where painters have traditionally focused on highly stylized portrayals of Buddhist religious themes. You may also visit the well-preserved Water Gardens, which enclose the main, western entrance to the rock and are reminiscent of a small Versailles transported to ancient Sri Lanka, with well managed lawns interspersed with geometrically constructed ponds and water channels.
Day 05
Sigiriya / KandyFrom Sigiriya, we will be taking a monumental route to Kandy, across the hills of Sri Lanka. Kandy, hidden away among steep green hills in the centre of the island, is Sri Lanka's second city and indisputable cultural capital, home to the Temple of the Tooth, the country's most significant religious site, and the EsalaPerahera, the island's most raucous festival. The Kingdom of Kandy, the last independent Sinhalese stronghold, clung to its independence long after the rest of the island had succumbed to the Portuguese and Dutch, keeping its own distinct customs and culture, which live on today in the city's unique music, dance, and architecture.
Day 06 & 07
Kandy / Nuwara EliyaAfter we conclude our tour of Kandy, we will go further up to Nuwara Eliya, where we will be surrounded by mist and the aromas of flowers and icy mist. Ideal for romantic getaways, Nuwara Eliya, high in Sri Lanka's hill area, is surrounded by beautiful scenery and large tea plantations. The city, commonly known as Little England, has increased in prominence as a tourist destination in recent years. This is owing, in part, to the abundance of waterfalls in the area, as well as its proximity to the spectacular Horton Plains National Park. One of the greatest places to visit in Nuwara Eliya is the Horton Plains National Park. The park's main attraction is the World's End viewpoint, which is located on a cliff. The Lovers Leap Waterfall, St. Clair's Falls, Bomburu Ella Waterfall, and Laxapana Falls are just a few of the breathtaking waterfalls in Nuwara Eliya. One of the most memorable things to do in Nuwara Eliya is a waterfall trek. Hiking up to a gushing waterfall with your spouse and relishing in nature's unrivaled beauty may be an amazing experience.
Day 08
Nuwara Eliya / EllaWe can now further explore Nuwara Eliya by travelling further towards Ella. Traveling throughout Sri Lanka with your significant other is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A stop in the lovely and romantic Ella can only enhance the trip. Ella should absolutely be on your schedule because it has the greatest views of Sri Lanka's hill region, adventure activities, and so many other things to do.
Day 09 & 10
Ella / BentotaYou and your significant other can enjoy more adventures at Ella while you are there. If you and your partner are adrenaline enthusiasts, you should certainly check out Ella's zip line. Soar into the air at 80kmh, 82 meters above ground level, while admiring the natural beauty of Sri Lanka's highlands. Ella is not just about the outdoors, with various guesthouses, fantastic cafés, and restaurants. When you visit the various food and beverage establishments in Ella, you will be treated to some delicious food and traditional Sri Lankan hospitality. You might also meet and mingle with other travelers while listening to live music and sampling delectable Sri Lankan food.
Once you have had your fill of Ella (which will never be enough), we will be journeying on to Bentota. Something in the air of Bentota makes it a perfect romantic getaway for couples from all over the world. It it be the warmth of its golden sand beaches, mesmerizing sunsets, interesting wilderness, or isolated areas away from the crowds that entice the captivated.
Day 11
Bentota / NegomboFollowing our loving excursion through the sandy beaches of Bentota, we will journey through Sri Lanka’s beautiful beaches to the Negombo Beach as well. Negombo, a beautiful city in Sri Lanka, is located on the west coast, north of the capital, Colombo. The city is home to one of Sri Lanka's earliest beach resorts and is conveniently located near the country's international airport. As a result, this city has become a popular tourist destination. Negombo is also well-known for its cinnamon production, in addition to tourism. Negombo is a popular choice for many people, and the beautiful beaches and water activities make it a must-see location for tourists. Negombo is both romantic and informative, with attractions such as the Fishing Village, Dutch Fort, St. Marys Church, Negombo Beaches, Negombo Lagoon, Dutch Clock Tower, and Hamilton Canal.
