Day 01 & 02
Arrival / Colombo (Play Golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club)Once you arrive on the island, we will pick you up from the airport and transport you to the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. You will be able to play golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club. Since its inception in 1879, the Royal Colombo Golf Club in Sri Lanka has been in the forefront of the Sri Lankan golf scene, receiving the Royal Seal from King George V in 1928. The course is not lengthy by modern standards, at 6560 yards from the championship tees. The first hole at The Royal Colombo Golf Club is a challenging one. A grove of trees guards the right side of the small fairway, and the closer you can keep to these trees, the better your angle to the green. If you go too far left, you'll have to swing your way across the pond to locate the green.
Day 03 & 04
Colombo / Pinnawala / Kandy (Play Golf at the Victoria Golf Club)Through Pinnawala, we will then journey on to Kandy, where you will be able to continue playing golf at the Victoria Golf Club. Victoria Golf & Country Facility is a 73 Par, 6933-yard championship 18-hole golf resort in Sri Lanka nestled in the misty hills of Digana near the glistening Victoria Reservoir. This 517-acre setting was developed by Donald Steele & Co. in 1997 and is listed by Golf Digest as one of the "100 Most Beautiful Golf Courses in the World." A very calming backdrop for a nice round of golf is provided by dramatic and awe-inspiring panoramas embellished with flowering shrubs and tree-lined fairways.
Day 05 & 06
Kandy / Nuwara Eliya (Play Golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club)We will then journey up the beautiful misty hills of Nuwara Eliya for our next golf hotspot. The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, founded in 1889, is one of Asia's and maybe the world's oldest golf clubs. It is an institution steeped in tradition and history, with an atmosphere unrivaled in our nation. The British planters who farmed the area for tea in the Nuwara Eliya district founded it, mostly for their leisure and amusement, and it still caters to some of the country's colonial traditions. This charming mingling of old-world charm with modern trappings lends it a distinct air and is the essence of its allure.
Day 06 & 07
Nuwara Eliya / Hambantota (Play Golf at the Shangri La Golf Resort and Spa)From Nuwara Eliya, we will go down south to Hambantota, for your last golf resort at the Shangri La. The Golf & Country Club offers a comprehensive range of services and amenities to help players have a good time. The clubhouse, which overlooks the 18th hole, is open to all golfers and guests. Ulpatha (watering hole), inspired by Sri Lanka's colonial tradition, is the ideal spot to unwind after a round of golf, with a good range of beers, malt whiskies, cocktails, and other beverages and nibbles. It provides international and comfort meals for a laid-back lunch overlooking the golf course. in picturesque settings
